About Wayne Smith

Wayne Smith, a very experienced  Marriage Celebrant for the past 14 years  is a retired Director from the  Department of Education and Training  , with a background in the resource sector and social work. He is also a Justice of the Peace since 1992.

Wayne is totally committed to customer service with the  highest level of professionalism; Wayne  is a member of the Marriage Celebrant  Association of Western Australia (Est. WA.)
and the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants Inc.

He retired from Government in 2006 and is now full time employed as a registered Civil Marriage Celebrant and lives in the foothills area  in Maida-Vale near Perth, Western Australia.

He enjoys fishing with Pat and the boys and bush walking with our little staffy named Kojack .  

Wayne enjoys life and the company of others and is passionate about a safe and clean environment, a greener Australia for our children and future generations.

Wayne is married to Patricia for the past 50 years, has two sons, has a relaxed nature,  3 chooks that don’t lay many eggs and heaps of birds that share our property.  He is also the proud grandfather of  5 children.

Wayne has travelled most of Asia and the Middle East , done the round Australia trip a few times  and has met lots of interesting people in his travels.

With Wayne’s lifelong experience his attitude toward your ceremony will be  personalized, meaningful and caring. Every couple is different and every ceremony is unique. His  performance at your wedding or other ceremonies will be  relaxed and professional.

His aim and objective will be to help you to enjoy your ceremony and to provide a high quality ceremony that is highly personalized and tailored to your needs.   

He has extensive experience in presentations to a variety of groups , both large and small. He has skills and abilities to compile and delivery presentations with a range of formats..  Wayne has delivered presentations across Australia and overseas during his career.
